A solicitor handles all the legal elements, known as "conveyancing":

• They'll carry out searches and checks, raise enquiries, and handle contracts.

Your lender will carry out a valuation, and you may choose:

• A HomeBuyer Report (ideal for newer properties)
• A Full Building Survey (recommended for older properties)
