To boast character is not often easy for a modern property. Not so for this one I am pleased to say. It?s big too. There is a spacious hallway giving access to a cloakroom and storage. The kitchen too is unusual, in that it has space for a family to dine, a dresser and the adjoining utility room allows space for the things that matter ? like cooking and baking. The living room has dual aspects and direct access to the garden.
The bedrooms are all three, large. The master has ensuite facilities, bags of wall space for furnishings and nice views too. The landing has its own natural light and is shaped in a way that one can pass others there too. I have seen double beds placed in all three rooms before now, so no box rooms here.
The garden is pretty, but small. That said, it still offers home to a lawn, a decked seating area with grape vine laden pergola to offer shade and privacy. There are fruit trees covering the boring walls, clever storage sheds built into the fence, and colourful flowering shrubs and roses. There is even a Lemon tree. Three small steps and through the gate sees you to the parking which is situated behind the property.
As an investor, the value of the smaller garden and longer term tenancies (given its size) must appeal. For an upmarket move, it offers the space normally found in a detached home, yet costs considerably less. As a modern home (normally ruled out on sight by character only buyers) it is full of character ? and worth looking at again. There are few at this price that have the both the commons and the town on the doorstep. If you really must have a large garden for children, there is a park for the residents with picnic area and the finest views just around the corner. No excuses ? come and see it.
From Torrington square take the Well Street exit and at the road junction turn left. With the Fire Station directly in front of you, turn left signposted Bideford, taking the right hand turning into School Lane, then second left turning into Linden Close. Follow the road around passing Dartington Crystal on the left hand side, proceeding to the bottom of the road taking the left hand turning, following the road around to the right, passing the recreational ground on the left, where number 49 Trafalgar Drive will be found shortly after on the right hand side with a numberplate clearly displayed.
