It is not very often one can feel like they are holiday whilst at work. This was the experience for me when invited to take the photographs for this gorgeous home. As the weather was good, naturally I started with the terrace ? and those views! Second port of call was the raised deck with the sunken hot tub. Another reason for this was that the views from here are what you see first thing in the morning from the master suite. This area is a relatively new addition to the home and is finished (like the rest of the property) stylishly and immaculately. There was clear purpose when this was designed. The ensuites to the bedrooms are wet rooms, but of the type and finish one would find in a high end hotel. There are three double bedrooms (2 with ensuite as mentioned above) and the 4 piece bathroom which serves the third bedroom, so each have their own facilities.
The home is finished to the same high finish throughout and features a much sought after Kitchen/diner with Central Island and bi-fold doors which lead out to another perfect seating area. The kitchen is also open plan to the games room, which in turn, leads to the sitting room. Each of these areas feature their own attractive and modern wood burners. So there is lots to like within the home. What about outside?
The total plot is approximately 3 acres. This made up of a 2 acre sloping paddock, a large yard, the home and its formal gardens and outbuildings, a track and open hay barn and a huge workshop with inspection pit and a mezzanine floor. The workshop is opposite the home on the right of the yard. It measures 57?5 X 30? on one side and a further 40? X 24? on the other with mezzanine above giving addition office/storage space. There is heavy duty single electrics and the yard is large enough to park multiple large vehicles or store/park horse boxes etc. The formal gardens wrap around the home with lawns, growing beds, patios and fruit trees placed perfectly, as is the pond on the terrace where dining on a fine day almost seems essential.
We look forward to meeting you at the home at your convenience.
From Torrington proceed in a southerly direction on the A386 signposted Hatherleigh / Okehampton and after approximately 3 miles upon reaching the site of the former Gribble Inn (now New Homes) on the right hand side, take the right hand turning signposted Peters Marland / Petrockstowe / Shebbear. Continue along this road passing the Tarka Trail Car Park and yarde Cafe on your left, then after passing the farm on your right, you will find the property after a short distance on your left hand side with for nameplate clearly displayed. Continue just passed the property and into the entrance to the yard between the workshop and the home.
