Additional Information

Before I get too carried away with waxing lyrical over this beautiful home, it is worth pointing out that it is restricted with an agricultural tie and is part Wollaway constructed. All that being said, still provides a fantastic opportunity for one lucky buyer.

Set on its own surrounded by glorious rolling Devon countryside under the majestic gaze of Dartmoor National Park is this spacious home. Surrounded by formal gardens with panoramic views across adjoining farmland as well as having paddock land opposite approaching two acres what?s not to like. One thing that I really noticed when there was just how much in tune with nature one can be with the sound of singing birds chirping from every hedgerow, the mooing of the cows and barring of the sheep from the nearby fields.

The bungalow itself offers spacious and versatile accommodation over split levels. The living room is a super-size, boasts a log burning stove and patio doors out onto a raised decked area allowing you to enjoy those southerly views. A particularly nice space is the kitchen / dining room, a real farmhouse felling kitchen with "esse" aga style cooker providing a cosy all year round glow. There are five bedrooms in total (if you use the attic room), two of which have ensuite shower rooms with a master room that benefits from the use of a Jack and Jill four piece bathroom.

There is plenty of parking with a gated driveway which in turn provides access to a much larger than average garage. All in all this is the perfect home if you work in agriculture both past or present and still want to dip your toe from home.

Agents note:
The occupation of the dwelling shall be limited to a person solely or mainly employed, or last employed, locally in agriculture as defined in section 290 of the Town and Country Planning act 1971, or in forestry, or dependant of such person residing with him (but including a widower of such person).

Directions

From Torrington proceed in a southerly direction on the A386 signposted Hatherleigh / Okehampton and after approximately 3 miles. upon reaching the site of the former Gribble Inn (now New Homes) on the right hand side, take the right hand turning signposted Peters Marland / Petrockstowe / Shebbear. Continue along this road passing the Tarka Trail Car Park on your left. As you reach Winswell Cross take the right hand turning to Peters Marland, continue up the hill into the village and take the turning on the left opposite the church, following this road for approximately 1/2 mile to where the road bends left on the brow of a hill. Turn right here and continue on this road for a further 1/2 mile where the bungalow is located on the left hand side of the road.
