Location    Hatherleigh caters well for its inhabitants and surrounding countryside with a good range of market town amenities including shops, popular pubs and school. The larger town of Okehampton, Dartmoor and the A30 dual carriageway is within some 7 miles. Okehampton offers a further range of amenities including recently completed swimming pool complex, Waitrose supermarket, golf course etc. The Cathedral and University city of Exeter with is intercity rail and motorway links is some 32 miles whilst the market town of Holsworthy is some 15½ miles. Bude and the North Cornish Coast is some 25 miles. Torrington and the acclaimed RHS Gardens are also some 15 miles distant.
