From the Bideford to Torrington road take the turning to Weare Giffard. Go under the old Railway Bridge and over the hump back bridge. Take the first left that is sign posted to Halspill. Go up over the top of the hill, down the other side, past Saltrens Lea, down the dip past Wyatt Cottage and up the other side and past Culver Cottage. There is a stone barn on the right and Netherdown Cottage is the higher of the two properties on the other side of the road.
