Mentioned in the Domesday book, this antique property is believed to have been owned in 1068 by Baldwin Fitzgilbert, the sheriff of Devon and builder of Okehampton Castle. Although the exact age is unknown, the Grade II* listed property is thought to have a medieval core which was altered and extended in the 17th/18th century and is approximately 3600 sq.ft
