Additional Information

One of those houses where what you find in real life is far more than your pre-expectations prior to the visit. To this end this is not a house that can be missed and really must be viewed to appreciate the quality of finish and accommodation on offer.

Having enjoyed an internal re-modelling and many improvements during the current ownership this is one of those homes you can just move into and just flick the kettle on. The living room is an inviting space and somewhere to really relax on a cold winter's night in front of the fire. The dining area is a real favourite of mine, a really airy space with a glazed atrium style roof and tri-fold doors allowing for lots of natural light to flow through. This in turn is open into a refitted kitchen, individually designed and installed by the current owners to include integrated appliances and a modern Aga. Flowing off of the kitchen is a handy utility room which could easily double up as a study before leading into the down stairs cloakroom.

Moving upstairs there is a spacious landing with a skylight window and internal doors leading to an inner landing and the remaining rooms. The master bedroom comes with the added benefit of an ensuite shower room whilst the second bedroom is amply sized as a double room, ideal for guests. The third is quite a quirky shaped room but again easily enough space as a single bed or home office. The bathroom is particulary nice and offers a four piece suite including a role edge bath, double width shower tray, toilet and sink.

The outside space is a fully enclosed and offers a fantastic degree of privacy, it's a real sun trap being west facing! From here you can gain access to the rear of the garage which can also double up as a workshop as at its longest, measures in excess of 26' in length. Location is always key when buying a new home and The Old Barn doesn't disappoint in that department either. Nestled in the heart Of Dolton village, one of North Devon's premier locations. Whilst only a 15 minute drive from the nearest town of Great Torrington the village its self-offers a host of amenities including two public houses, a butchers, local store and bus route.

From Torrington proceed in a southerly direction on the A386 signposted Hatherleigh/Okehampton and upon the leaving the town at the bottom of the hill turn left onto the A3124 signposted Winkleigh/Exeter, stay on this road passing through the village of Beaford whereupon reaching Dolton Beacon garage on your left hand side take the right hand turning signposted Dolton. Proceed into the village taking the third right turn into Fore Street. The Old Barn can be found after a short distance on your left hand side with a for sale board clearly displayed.
