Property Description

Additional Information

Located close to Rough Tor on Bodmin Moor is this substantial property requiring total renovation. Originally part of the former Stannon china clay quarry works, Stannon House was built in the early 1900's and would have housed the head quarryman, as well as providing the pay house and site office. The majority of the surrounding land, including the lake itself is now in the ownership of South West Water and has been designated as being within an area of high landscape importance adjacent to the Bodmin Moor Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property also benefits from a self contained annexe, two static caravans and the current vendor leases the adjacent barn for storage purposes from South West Water at a peppercorn rent.

We understand from the vendors that there was a historic dispute with regards to surface water/drainage but has been successfully resolved. However Bond Oxborough Phillips would always recommend any purchaser to carry out there own independent survey and investigations.

Rights of Way    It is understood that vendor of the property has a full right of way over the entrance lane.

Disputes    We understand from the vendors that there was a historic dispute with regards to surface water/drainage but has been successfully resolved. However Bond Oxborough Phillips would always recommend any purchaser to carry out their own independent survey and investigations.
